Travel Bunny stayed at the Holiday Inn Express LAX, in LA, last minute in June 2011.
Price was the same after calling other airport hotels from the phones/tourist information area in the baggage claim area.
They have a free shuttle to/from Airport, but has to be arranged first (either call from free phones at airport or when you’re at the hotel) and is available every 30 minutes, 24 hours a day.
Hotel is modern, clean, comfortable and spacious. Facilities include: free wi-fi (ask for password when checking in), concierge/bell services, complimentary hot and cold breakfast in their breakfast room, pool, small gym and business centre for internet and printing access. TV, phone and tea and coffee available in each room.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
I would stay here again. The rooms and bed were really big and comfortable.
The breakfast was decent. Eggs, bacon, toast, cereal, fruit, tea, coffee and a 1 minute pancake maker (they were tasty!), yogurt and juices. Self serve so eat as much as you want!
Not much around the hotel, no restaurant at hotel, only a convenience store around the corner and a small shop in the hotel lobby.
