New York is an amazing city to visit, but it can be quite expensive.
Here are a few ideas of how to keep your trip cost down by wandering through these places:
1. Visit The Met museum & Cloisters
Entrance price into either includes entrance to both. To start with the Cloisters, and get free admission into the Met or vice versa.
Note that admission prices are recommended only, so you can pay just $1 to enter both places.

The Cloisters is a beautiful quaint museum that has a beautiful park surrounding it.
2. Natural History Museum
If you turn up in the last hour of opening, it is free. There’s a lot to get through in the museum and it spans a few floors as well. However, if you only have a few things you want to see, the timing and price might be right!
3. MOMA
Free on Fridays between 4-8pm, make sure you line up early to get your free ticket, the queue is often quite long as this is quite popular!

4. Central Park
The famous massive green space in New York that is free and very beautiful to roam through.
5. Highline – Meatpacker’s district
This is a nice walk that stretches from the Meatpacker’s district (Gansevoort St) to West 34th Street, between 10th & 11th Avenues. Stunning to walk through at night with the city lights.
