Brisbane is definitely coming up with some amazing delights for locals and tourists alike.
Here’s a few ideas to whet your appetite:
1. Green Jam Sessions @ QPAC forecourt – Melbourne St Green
The Queensland Conservatorium amazing students line up this Friday night free event from 5-8pm. Swing in to chill out with deck chairs provided and a bar for those who’d like a beverage.
Next Friday 2 May 2014, Travel Bunny’s favourite Bossa band: Coisa Linda will be playing. Not sure if they are also Con students as they have been playing gigs all around for many years now.
Usually around from March to May each year.

2. Eat Street Markets @ Portside
Has a $2 entry fee, so not entirely as free as I thought!
Amazing new vibrant street food markets have popped up using recycled shipping containers in the car park next to the popular Portside at the Hamilton Wharf. They’ve done an incredible job setting the place up with lot’s of different food to choose from as well as some beautiful products for sale as well as a couple of organic fruit and vegetable stalls.
Stalls are open every Friday and Saturday night from 4-10pm. Even on public holidays like Anzac day the stalls were open.
Live music also plays to set the scene. There were some talented Jazz musicians funking it up when Travel Bunny visited. Along with some other home grown acts.

3. Farmers markets at Reddacliff Square
Wednesday lunchtimes are abuzz with the farmers markets enticing city workers. There are a few food stalls and fruit and vegetable stalls. A small market but still enough to enjoy for a lunch time break. Some of the market stalls you can see at West End markets on Saturdays or the Kelvin Grove markets on Saturdays.
